Khandvi Gujarati Recipe …

  1. 250ml Thick Butter Milk
  2. 150 gm Gram Flour
  3. 1 Spoon Turmeric Powder
  4. Pinch of Asafetida
  5. ½ Spoon Black Mustard Seeds
  6. 2 Green Chilies (Chopped)
  7. 1 Spoon Sesame Seeds
  8. 8-10 Curry Leaves
  9. 2 Spoon Oil
  10. 15-20 Coriander Leaves
  11. Salt as per Taste

  1. Take a container and add Gram Flour, Turmeric Powder, Salt and Asafetida, mix them well.
  2. Now pour butter milk and stir mixture simultaneously.
  3. Heat mixture on gas stove at medium flame for about 8-9 minutes.
  4. While heating mixture continuously stir it in order to avoid lump at bottom of container.
  5. Make sure that mixture becomes thick.
  6. Be cautious as the mixture splatters a lot while heating.
  7. Spread the hot mixture as thin as possible on a large plate greased with oil.
  8. Cool it for about 10-15 minutes.
  9. After it cools down roll up it.
  10. Cut in 2 Inch wide strips.
  11. Now heat the 2 spoon Oil in separate container.
  12. Add Black Mustard Seeds, Chopped Green Chilies, Sesame Seeds and Curry Leaves to it.
  13. Allow all the ingredient seeds to crackle.
  14. Spread it immediately and evenly on the prepared rolls.
  15. Decorate with Coriander Leaves.

Delicious Khandavi is ready to SERVE.
