Mohanthal Gujarati Recipe …

  1. 200gm Ghee
  2. 250gm Gram Flour (Fine)
  3. 50gm Khoya
  4. 50gm Chopped Almond and Pistachios
  5. 1 Spoon Cardamom Powder
  6. 250gm Sugar
  7. Spoon Milk

  1. Take one big plate and knead Gram Flour with 2 spoon of Milk.
  2. Now shred dough with shredder.
  3. There would be fine formation of Gram Flour.
  4. Take big fry pan and pour Ghee for heating.
  5. Pour Gram Flour formation and stir at low flame.
  6. When it turn light brown add Khoya in to it.
  7. Stir and heat the mixture for 1 minute more.
  8. Take off fry pan from gas stove.
  9. Take another container and take Sugar and enough water so sugar sink in to it.
  10. Put container on gas stove.
  11. When it heats up rubs of Sugar floats at surface, take it out with spoon.
  12. Heat when it becomes congruent and spill smoothly from spoon.
  13. Mix this into Gram flour mixture and heat for 1 more minute.
  14. Turn off gas stove.
  15. Spread mixture in a large plate greased with Ghee.
  16. Cool it down for 10-15 minutes.
  17. Sprinkle Chopped Almond and Pistachios and Cardamom Powder on it.
  18. Let it cool down for 30 minutes, then cut it in squares.
